Doom: All-On-One (2026) 1

It's a timeless Dr. Doom story told through a couple forced gimmicks. Alessandro Cappuccio nails every splash page, but I always find the landscape orientation mildly distracting to hold. My other nitpick is the same I had with the last All-On-One, but it's a spoiler.

VisionQuest Episode 2

White Vision mirroring a dissociative disorder is far more interesting than the unfeeling robot cliché. The violence and intensity is a strong contrast. I love getting James D'Arcy's Jarvis back, but I'm not sold on the other Stark AIs. I've also had enough Paladin.

VisionQuest Episode 1

I was sceptical of this feeling like the end of a trilogy with Wanda Vision and Agatha All Along, but its already bridging them thematically. Giving the virtual world a Wes Anderson artifice is genius and Ultron coming back full James Spader is a dream come true.

Hulk Vs. Thor

The best of the Marvel Animated Features era. They ditched the Ultimates for a greatest hits of the classics. Hulk rampaging through Asgard is a damn good time. Apparently, it's in continuity with Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Wolverine and The X-Men.

Marvel Legends Magic: The Gathering Malice (Invisible Woman)

This is a pretty standard figure with a deluxe price tag. What are they charging for the Magic card? Still, she does look great and I do love the extra unmasked head's maniacal expression. I would easily take a Marvel Rivals version also, please. Hold the card.

All-New Venom (2024) 1-10, Venom 250-262

This feels like a fun throw back to early 2000's Marvel. Its tapping into that Peter David Captain Marvel energy and I am here for it. It is also Al Ewing writing a stealth Spider-Man book. Still, Carlos Gómez is the real star with his incredibly clean and slick art.

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow

The Avengers get the Disney treatment a year before the merger. Really, its closer to Don Bluth. The Avengers' kids inheriting the Age Of Ultron is relatable. It starts strong but feels like an act is missing. What's the point if they need Hulk to save the day?

Ultimate Impact: Reborn (2026) 1-5

It's a step-up from Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion, but just reeks of mandated MCU synergy. The new characters give me flashbacks of those god-awful Infinity Watch replacements. The only one that gets any time to shine is Hostilicus, who is undeniably cool.
